Valerie Rogers
Recognized across the region, Val Rogers is a talented vocalist and entertainer. After completing her vocal training at the University of Connecticut, she toured with the USO both internationally and across the United States. Her five-woman show impressed military personnel and their families at various venues, including military bases in Turkey, Iceland, Greece, Italy, Scotland, Wales; the World's Fair in Seville, Spain; Barcelona Olympics; aircraft carriers, New York City's Fleet Week, and the USO Woman of the Year event for Barbara Bush.
As a performer in theater, musicals, comedies, and television commercials, Val has the stage presence to captivate and engage audiences. Her singing style seamlessly blends with both big bands and contemporary small ensembles. Performing and recording with some of the region's top swing bands, Val has received rave reviews, being described as a "complete performer," "the best," and having a "great voice!"
